Draw bridges can cause unexpected delays - warn drivers of what lies ahead. This will inform them of the possibility of having to wait.
Standard: 01 A DRAW BRIDGE (W3-6) sign shall be used in advance of movable bridge signals and gates (see Section 4J.02) to give warning to road users, except in urban conditions where such signing would not be practical.
