Yes, they are. Our railroad crossing signs are created as per MUTCD Chapter 8B. We offer MUTCD-compliant Crossbuck signs as well as warning signs and plaques for grade crossings, among others.

Yellow-background crossing signs work well. They are bright and bold enough for high day-time visibility and if you choose them in reflective options, the retroreflectivity will ensure a good night-time view as well. Fluorescent crossing signs take 24-hour visibility to the next level. These signs are highly visible at night and also extremely conspicuous at dawn and during early evening times. Additionally, certain signs such as pedestrian, bicycle, school, and guide signs should have a fluorescent yellow-green background as indicated in this MUTCD Table and detailed in the respective chapters and sections. Most crossing signs in the yellow background can be substituted for fluorescent-green in MUTCD guidelines.

Our fluorescent signs are made of 3M's brightest and most conspicuous sign material, with three times the reflectivity of High Intensity and ten times the reflectivity of Engineer Grade signs.

Our reboundable crosswalk signs are available both with and without a support base. You may choose from a pedestrian crossing sign on a portable banana base or a fixed base. We also offer FlexPost paddle crosswalk signs on a portable base and as a kit for anchoring the sign in asphalt, concrete, and ground. Replacement decals for FlexPost spring bases are also available.

Since custom items are made to order, these do take slightly longer to ship. Custom orders are shipped within 3-5 business days after the order goes into production, which happens the business days after the proof is approved.
