"Temp" sign gets your point across but in a smaller space. Made from heavy-duty reflective aluminum, it will do well in notifying drivers of temporary road changes.
Standard: 01 If used, the TEMPORARY or TEMP auxiliary sign shall be mounted directly above the route sign, above a Cardinal Direction sign, or above a sign for an alternate route that is a part of the route designation. 02 TEMPORARY or TEMP auxiliary signs shall be promptly removed when the temporary route is abandoned.
